<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>Mai 2026<\/h1><\/div>ACS unveils new vehicle based on the G-Class<\/h3><\/div>ACS (Armoured Car Systems), based in Friedberg-Derching, is unveiling a new variant of its Modular Box Body (MBB).<\/p>\n
As part of a customer presentation, ACS is showcasing a new variant in the form of a Modular Box Body (MBB) or mission module. Together with Diehl Defence, the GARMR drone defence system is being demonstrated. The system, previously known as the \u2018Kinetic Defence Vehicle\u2019 (KDV), is designed to protect critical civilian infrastructure as well as for use in military combat scenarios.<\/p>\n
The mission module is based on a Mercedes-Benz G-Class with a long wheelbase. The original driver’s cab is retained and supplemented by a modular vehicle or box body. The MBB offers a cost-effective, scalable base structure that can be adapted for specific missions. Various vehicle variants, such as medical, logistics or troop transport solutions, can be realised on this platform. The mission module is designed to support heavy superstructures and high roof loads. The lightweight box bodies are manufactured from proven MSF profiles, which are also used in ACS’s air-transportable vehicles.<\/p>\n
This modularity enables a high degree of commonality and system compatibility. ACS’s standardised vehicle concepts ensure logistical consistency across platforms and guarantee long-term availability of spare parts. At the same time, they reduce the training and instruction required for operating and maintenance staff.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>Mai 2026<\/h1><\/div>ACS unveils new vehicle based on the G-Class<\/h3><\/div>ACS (Armoured Car Systems), based in Friedberg-Derching, is unveiling a new variant of its Modular Box Body (MBB).<\/p>\n
As part of a customer presentation, ACS is showcasing a new variant in the form of a Modular Box Body (MBB) or mission module. Together with Diehl Defence, the GARMR drone defence system is being demonstrated. The system, previously known as the \u2018Kinetic Defence Vehicle\u2019 (KDV), is designed to protect critical civilian infrastructure as well as for use in military combat scenarios.<\/p>\n
The mission module is based on a Mercedes-Benz G-Class with a long wheelbase. The original driver’s cab is retained and supplemented by a modular vehicle or box body. The MBB offers a cost-effective, scalable base structure that can be adapted for specific missions. Various vehicle variants, such as medical, logistics or troop transport solutions, can be realised on this platform. The mission module is designed to support heavy superstructures and high roof loads. The lightweight box bodies are manufactured from proven MSF profiles, which are also used in ACS’s air-transportable vehicles.<\/p>\n
This modularity enables a high degree of commonality and system compatibility. ACS’s standardised vehicle concepts ensure logistical consistency across platforms and guarantee long-term availability of spare parts. At the same time, they reduce the training and instruction required for operating and maintenance staff.<\/p>\n

ACS unveils new vehicle based on the G-Class<\/h3><\/div>ACS (Armoured Car Systems), based in Friedberg-Derching, is unveiling a new variant of its Modular Box Body (MBB).<\/p>\n
As part of a customer presentation, ACS is showcasing a new variant in the form of a Modular Box Body (MBB) or mission module. Together with Diehl Defence, the GARMR drone defence system is being demonstrated. The system, previously known as the \u2018Kinetic Defence Vehicle\u2019 (KDV), is designed to protect critical civilian infrastructure as well as for use in military combat scenarios.<\/p>\n
The mission module is based on a Mercedes-Benz G-Class with a long wheelbase. The original driver’s cab is retained and supplemented by a modular vehicle or box body. The MBB offers a cost-effective, scalable base structure that can be adapted for specific missions. Various vehicle variants, such as medical, logistics or troop transport solutions, can be realised on this platform. The mission module is designed to support heavy superstructures and high roof loads. The lightweight box bodies are manufactured from proven MSF profiles, which are also used in ACS’s air-transportable vehicles.<\/p>\n
This modularity enables a high degree of commonality and system compatibility. ACS’s standardised vehicle concepts ensure logistical consistency across platforms and guarantee long-term availability of spare parts. At the same time, they reduce the training and instruction required for operating and maintenance staff.<\/p>\n
